Shillong, May 2: In yet another attack on government establishments, a government vehicle (ML01 A 0175) belonging to the Directorate of Water Resources was torched by miscreants at Cleve colony on Thursday night.
The vehicle was torched on the premises of the Directorate of Water Resources. It was suspected that miscreants lobbed a petrol bomb from outside, police said, adding that the vehicle was completely gutted.
Police said miscreants are targeting government vehicles in those areas which do not have CCTV coverage.
“We are working to nab the miscreants responsible for this arson case,” police said.
