Yogamaya Ashram to begin Platinum Jubilee celebrations from July 7

SHILLONG, July 4: The Yogamaya Ashram will commence its Platinum Jubilee celebrations with a year-long programme starting July 7.
The opening ceremony, which will be organised from July 7 to July 15, includes a chariot procession bringing Lord Jagannath, Boloram and Subhadra from Harisabha Temple.
On July 14, the Ashram will host a ‘Uday Astha Harinam Sankirtana’ starting at 5 am at its premises in Three Pine Colony, Lower Laban, Shillong.
It may be mentioned that the Yogamaya Ashram was founded in 1949 by Sri Sri Swami Suryananda Paramhansa with an aim to promote spiritual and social well-being amongst. The Ashram was further expanded by Holy Mother Nibedita Debi Sharma.
