4th teachers move CM for regularisation of service

TURA, July 19: A day after the 4th Teachers submitted a memorandum to Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma and Secretary of State Education Commission, Ambrose Ch Marak, the teachers have also submitted a copy of the same memorandum to Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Friday.
The teachers are seeking the regularisation of their services, equal salary at par with ad hoc UP teachers, the regular disbursement of their salaries as well as 5% annual increment. It is worth mentioning that there are a total of 1,521 teachers under the category in the state.
In their memorandum submitted on Friday, the teachers urged the chief minister to consider their demands and take up the matter with the department concerned to ensure the fulfilment of their demands.
