BJP ready to scale new heights in state: Antony

SHILLONG, July 25: Newly-appointed BJP Meghalaya in charge and party’s national secretary, Anil K Antony on Thursday said the party is ready to scale new heights in Meghalaya.
He spoke about the growth of the party and also the need to strengthen the party in the state.
Urging party leaders and workers to give their best, he praised them for their enthusiasm and energy, calling it an inspiration for everyone and a signal that the party is ready to achieve better results in Meghalaya.
During his first visit to the state after taking charge of the Meghalaya unit, he took stock of the functioning of the party and the present state of affairs.
Antony, son of former Defence Minister AK Antony, was earlier welcomed by the party’s state unit and felicitated at an event organised at the party headquarters here.
