CRPF pays tribute to Kargil war heroes in WGH

TURA, Jul 27: One of the most important dates in recent history, Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated by 120th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Tura, West Garo Hills.
As part of the celebration, members of the battalion began the day with a cleaning drive in the PA Sangma stadium.
On the occasion, CRPF Commandant, Pramod Kumar Singh, paid homage to the war heroes, which was then followed by a plantation drive within the battalion premises.
The event saw CRPF officers and jawans participate in games, barakhana and a cultural night, all held as part of the celebration.
