SHILLONG, July 31: The High Court of Meghalaya has quashed an order issued in 2016 by the District Mission Coordinator, Dadenggre, West Garo Hills, which had directed the replacement of Supiya Khatun with Oleda Sheikh as the Headmistress of Tillapara Girls SSA LP School.
Aggrieved by the order, Khatun had approached the High Court, claiming that her fundamental and constitutional rights were infringed by the impugned order dated October 24, 2016.
After hearing the matter, the High Court then quashed the order, reinstating Khatun as the headmistress of the aforesaid school.
