Natl moot court competition culminates

SHILLONG, Aug 24: Curtain came down on the National Moot Court Competition, organised for the first time by the Shillong Law College Moot Court Society, here on Saturday.
The legal competition, which got under way on Thursday, was participated by a total of 34 teams from various regions across India, all vying for a prize pool of Rs two lakh.
The inaugural event was attended by High Court of Meghalaya judges, Justice W. Deingdoh and Justice Biswadeep Bhattacharjee, apart from governing body members of Shillong Law College, law professors, advocates, et al.
