Baghmara, Aug 30: Don Bosco Higher Secondary School emerged victorious, claiming the winner’s trophy in both the general and women’s categories in the Tug of War competition on Friday at the Sports Playground in Baghmara.
The sports event organised by the office of the District Sports Officer, in celebration of National Sports Day saw enthusiastic participation from eight schools in the Baghmara town area.
Don Bosco Higher Secondary School emerged victorious, claiming the winner’s trophy in both the general and women’s categories.
In the general category, Mount Vale Secondary School secured the runners-up position, while Rangku Memorial Girls Secondary School took home the runners-up trophy in the women’s category.
The event highlighted the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork among the students, fostering a sense of community and healthy competition in the town.
