Zenith Jubelieth Club, Laban, Shillong, will organise its Annual All Shillong Dr. MM Das Memorial Debate Competition on ‘NEP 2020 Will Remove All Kinds of Educational Inequality’ at 2:30 pm on Saturday on the club premises near Near St. John’s Church, Laban. In this regard, all the higher secondary schools and colleges in Shillong are invited to participate in the competition. “Interested institutes may send their teams comprising of two students, one speaking ‘for’ and the other ‘against’ the motion,” a statement here said.
Programme
The Shillong Assames Ladies Welfare Club will celebrate the 98th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr Bhupen Hazarika at 3pm on Sunday at Assam Club, the programme for which will be attended by Amar Asom Editor Monoj Goswamii as the chief guest.
