Shillong, Sep 12: The Meghalaya Police team has made a strong impression at the 73rd All India Police Wrestling Cluster 2024, currently being held in Lucknow, by securing two gold medals in the fiercely contested Arm Wrestling events.
In a show of skill and determination, Meghalaya’s Wandalin Syiemiong emerged victorious in the female arm wrestling category, defeating a formidable opponent from Rajasthan to claim the coveted gold medal. Her triumph was a significant achievement for Meghalaya Police and showcased her strength and tactical brilliance in a highly competitive event. Syiemiong’s victory is being hailed as a proud moment for her state and department.In the men’s arm wrestling category, Alan Marbaniang from the Meghalaya Police team followed suit with an equally impressive performance.
