National Lok Adalat settles 292 cases across state

SHILLONG, Sep 14: The National Lok Adalat, which was organised by the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority on Saturday, settled 292 cases across the state for Rs 1,50,43,766.
During the National Lok Adalat, organised under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority, the total number of cases that were taken up was 1185, out of which 776 were pre-litigation cases and 409 were pending cases.
