Stray dog bite claims life of WKH health practitioner

SHILLONG, Sep 17: A 32-year-old medical practitioner died of rabies in West Khasi Hills on Monday.
Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh on Tuesday said that Gracetyfull Marngar, a mid-level healthcare provider was bitten by stray puppies two months ago.
She was under tetanus treatment but succumbed to rabies, the minister added.
