SHILLONG, Sep 28: As part of the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations and the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative, Raj Bhavan, Shillong, in collaboration with the Central Bureau of Communication and the Office of the District Sports Officer, East Khasi Hills District, will organise the ‘Swachhata 5.5K Run’ on Wednesday.
The run, aimed at promoting cleanliness and fitness, will both start and finish at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.
The event will begin at 7 am with Governor CH Vijayashankar flagging off the participants.
The route will pass through St. Anthony’s College, Don Bosco Square, Laitumkhrah Market and Barik Point, before concluding at Raj Bhavan.
