Vice President to arrive in city on Oct 16 for two-day trip

SHILLONG, Oct 14: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will arrive in Meghalaya on a two-day tour on Wednesday. This will be his maiden visit to the state.
The Vice President will arrive in Shillong on Wednesday and attend a meeting at the State Convention Centre and also lay the foundation stone for Meghalaya Skill and Innovation Hub and partake in the signing of an MoU between the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the Meghalaya government for promotion of entrepreneurship.
The Vice President will also visit the Shillong IT Park and the under-construction Assembly building in New Shillong Township.
On Thursday, Dhankhar will visit Sohra before departing for New Delhi.
