BSF ADG Ravi Gandhi reviews security scene

SHILLONG, Oct 21: The Additional Director General (ADG) of BSF Eastern Command, Kolkata, Ravi Gandhi, reviewed the current security scenario and discussed various operational and administrative aspects of border management during his two-day visit to BSF Frontier Meghalaya, which concluded on Monday.
On Sunday, the ADG was welcomed by Inspector General, BSF Meghalaya, Harbax Singh Dhillon, along with other senior officers. In Meghalaya, he interacted with villagers from border areas of South West Garo Hills at BOP-Bahadur, 50 Battalion BSF.
The next day, Gandhi received a Guard of Honour at Frontier Headquarter BSF Meghalaya and interacted with officers during a presentation given by IG Dhillon on the operational preparedness of the frontier.
The ADG also paid a visit to Chief Secretary DP Wahlang and Meghalaya DPG Idashisha Nongrang.
