SHILLONG, Oct 24: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is optimistic that the ongoing repair of National Highway 6 would be completed within four months.
An NHAI official said the repair work is under way and if the weather remains clear, they would complete the remaining work by February.
The NHAI is facing challenges like traffic congestion which is hampering the repair work, the official said, adding that the matter has been discussed with the East Jaintia Hills deputy commissioner.
