State behind in Aadhaar coverage

SHILLONG, Nov 2: Meghalaya continues to lag in Aadhaar coverage, while many states have already ensured 100 percent coverage.
According to data, the Aadhaar saturation report as of September 30, 2024, reveals that the penetration rate in Meghalaya still stands at 79.17%. The total projected population of Meghalaya is 3,379,000, out of which 2,675,129 Aadhaars have been assigned.
