Participants in action during a Vertical Cave Rescue Training/Exercise organised by the Meghalaya Adventurers’ Association in collaboration with the Irish Cave Rescue Organization. The exercise started on November 14 with training on Single Rope Technique. The team set up its base in Wahlong (Byrong) village, East Khasi Hills, Since November 17 and will be there till November 24. The final cave rescue mock drill will be conducted on Saturday.
