Army Boys rally
The Army Boys Sports Company, MEG and Centre Bangalore will organise an induction rally from January 20 to 23 to select boys who excel in the field of boxing, hockey, sailing and swimming. The rally will be conducted at Kendriya Vidyalaya MEG and Centre, Sports Ground Bangalore, from 6 am to 5 PM. Boys in the age group of 8 years and 1 day to 14 years (born between January 20, 2011, and January 20, 2017) should produce sports certificates in any of the above aforementioned disciplines. Boys in the age group of 14 years and 1 day to 16 years (born between January 20, 2009, and January 19, 2011) should be medallist in national or international competitions recognised by national federations of boxing/hockey/sailing/swimming within two years as on the date of induction rally. The minimum educational qualification for boys between 8-14 years is Class III passed, while for boys between 14-16 years, the qualification is Class VIII/IX passed.
