SHILLONG, Jan 20: The Chief Minister’s Disaster Response Medal for Outstanding Service will be conferred upon three officials during the Meghalaya Day celebrations here on Tuesday.
The recipients of the award are PH Khongsngi, Commandant, Border Wing Home Guards Bn., Shillong; Sepi CR Sangma, Divisional Commandant Home Guards, Williamnagar; and B Sahkhar, 2 I/C Border Wing Home Guards Bn., Shillong.
This award recognises their outstanding service in disaster response and management.
