Moderate quake jolts state

SHILLONG, Jan 21: An earthquake of medium intensity rocked southern Meghalaya on Tuesday, officials said on Tuesday. No loss of life or property was reported.
The earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale hit South West Khasi Hills at around 12:30 pm, officials from the Regional Seismological Centre said.
The tremor was felt across the state, they added. (PTI)
