Union raises incomplete school issue with Saleng

TURA, Jan 21: The GSU from Siju in South Garo Hills on Tuesday raised with Tura MP Saleng A Sangma, the issue of the incomplete Model School building in the area, which was sanctioned under RMSA by the then Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). In its memorandum addressed to the Tura MP on Tuesday, the union said, “The facility which was viewed as a beacon of quality education and progress has remained incomplete for such a long time, resulting in untapped potential and missed opportunities for our youths”.
The school in question was sanctioned in the year 2012-13 under the Rashtriya Madhiyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA) which has remained incomplete for many years now.
