SHILLONG, Jan 24: The State BJP on Friday announced its second list of candidates for the upcoming ADC elections.
The second list includes two candidates—Jiki Lakhi from Bataw Lakadong and Pil Khyriem from Amwi Khliehtyrshi—for the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC).
It may be mentioned that the BJP is focusing on a strategic selection of candidates and constituencies to maximise its chances in the upcoming KHADC and JHADC elections.
The party had earlier released its first list on Tuesday, featuring 14 candidates for the KHADC and three for the JHADC.
