ANTF apprehends 3 drug suppliers from Mizoram

SHILLONG, Feb 3: In a coordinated effort with Mawryngkneng PS, the Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) of East Khasi Hills arrested three drugs suppliers from Mizoram on Sunday.
They were identified as Sabina Lalnunmawiii (23), Lalrinmawia Chenkua (19) and Lalrosanga (28).
The police had arrested the three after they were intercepted in a vehicle with registration number MZ01/Z 3654 travelling from Shillong to Mizoram with a consignment of contraband.
The police seized two mobile phones, one driving licence and a green sofa set where the contraband was hidden.
Police also recovered 10.455 kg Ganja and 235 bottles (750 ml) of alcohol.
East Khasi Hills SP, Vivek Syiem said that a case is registered with Mawryngkneng police station.
