SHILLONG, Feb 3: A fraudulent audition scam is targeting aspiring contestants for Hills on a Plate Season 2, misleading them into paying a security deposit. The scam involves reaching out to individuals, inviting them to audition for the show, and then requesting a one-time deposit at the time of signing the contract. The scammers claim that the amount will be refunded once the contestant participates in the show, provided all terms and conditions are followed.
The message is being circulated under the name of Tantra Network and Telefilms. However, Rockski, the producers of the first season, have clarified stating that they have not initiated any auditions for the upcoming season. They have also warned the public that any official announcements regarding auditions will be made on public platforms.
Rockski has urged people to be cautious and avoid making any payments to unauthorised sources. They have also advised individuals to verify any audition-related information directly through their official channels to prevent falling victim to fraud.
