Nokma body thanks CM

TURA, Feb 17: The Council of Nokmas from Tura has thanked Chief Minister Conrad Sangma for inviting them as well as members of various civil societies for the first ever discussion on the Budget for FY25-26.
The discussion on the Budget took place at the main Secretariat in Shillong on February 12.
The Council held an emergent meeting at its office in Tura on Monday, where it expressed its appreciation to the Chief Minister for the move. The meeting also discussed further steps to be taken on the matter.
