ATM non-functional for a year, says students’ body

Tura, March 11: The All Meghalaya Minority Students’ Union (AMMSU) raised a complaint over a non-functional ATM in the village of Rajabala for over a year.
In a complaint to the Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills, AMMSU said that public complaints have been coming in from various quarters over the important ATM that is also used by students and residents of the highly populated area, being out of order for over a year now.
“We demand the restarting of the ATM and would request another ATM, if possible, be installed to ease congestion,” the AMMSU said in its complaint to the Deputy Commissioner.
