Shillong, March 13: The fourth day of the East Khasi Hills Cricket Association Inter-Office Cum Corporate League T20 Cricket Tournament 2025 witnessed two exciting matches, with Telecom Combine and Ri Bhoi Office Combine emerging victorious.In the sixth match of the tournament, Telecom Combine faced MLP Sohra in a closely contested encounter. Winning the toss, Telecom Combine opted to bat first and posted a total of 127 all out in 20 overs.
Teibansuk Sohkhlet was the top scorer with 18 off 14 balls, while MLP Sohra’s Donkupar Lyngkhoi put on a stellar bowling performance, claiming 5 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs.
Chasing 128 for victory, MLP Sohra struggled against a disciplined bowling attack and were bowled out for 109 in 20 overs. A.E. Marbaniang top-scored with 20 off 20 balls, but it was Teibansuk Sohkhlet who made an impact with the ball as well, registering figures of 4/27 in 4 overs.At the end, Telecom Combine won by 19 runs. : Teibansuk Sohkhlet was adjudged Player of the Match.
In the seventh fixture of the tournament, Ri Bhoi Office Combine outclassed SSA Shella Bholaganj with a commanding performance. After winning the toss and opting to bat, Ri Bhoi put up a formidable total of 216/7 in 20 overs.
Wansuklang Shullai led the charge with a blistering 75 off 35 balls, while Badap Tynsong was the pick of the bowlers for SSA, taking 3/29 in 4 overs.
In response, SSA Shella Bholaganj could only manage 127/4 in 20 overs, with Andy Kharkongor top-scoring with 45 off 37 balls. Wansuklang Shullai showcased his all-round ability, chipping in with the ball as well, picking up 2/23 in 3 overs to seal a comprehensive victory for his side.
At the end, Ri Bhoi Office Combine won by 89 runs. Wansuklang Shullaiwas adjudged Player of the Match.
