Raj Bhavan hosts experience sharing programme in city

SHILLONG, March 29: Raj Bhavan, Meghalaya, on Saturday hosted an Experience Sharing Programme under the Student Experience in Inter-State Living (SEIL) – National Integration Tour 2025, organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
The event was aimed at fostering national integration by enabling students from different parts of the country to interact, share experiences and understand diverse cultures.
Commissioner & Secretary to the Governor of Meghalaya BDR Tiwari, who attended the programme as the chief guest, highlighted the importance of inter-state cultural exchanges in strengthening the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, a vision championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He also urged students to embrace diversity, build friendships beyond regional boundaries and contribute to a united and progressive India.
During the event, the participants of the SEIL National Integration Tour 2025 shared their enriching experiences of staying with host families in different states, gaining deeper insights into local traditions, lifestyles, and values.
