TURA, April 1: In an effort to enhance skill development and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities, a 15-day Executive Training Programme on Electrical and Electronic Applications was inaugurated at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Tura, on April 1, 2025. The training is being conducted under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme, implemented by the District Commerce and Industries Centre (DCIC), Tura. The MSME Scheme (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Scheme) is a series of initiatives by the Indian government aimed at fostering the growth of small businesses, which are considered the backbone of the Indian economy. These initiatives provide financial assistance, skill development, market access, and technological support to MSMEs. Speaking at the inauguration as the chief guest, Deputy Inspector of Electricity, Tura, Milton R.
