Awareness drive in Ampati marks Fire Service Day

Ampati, April 14: The Ampati Fire and Emergency Service Station observed Fire Service Day on Monday with a strong focus on public awareness and fire safety education.
As part of the observance, the department organised a procession that commenced from the Fire Station and covered all major roads of Ampati and its nearby areas. The aim was to spread awareness among the public about the do’s and don’ts of fire safety and methods to prevent fire-related incidents.
Firefighters and personnel participated in the procession, and even distributed pamphlets while at the same time engaging with the local community to emphasise the importance of vigilance, preparedness, and timely response in case of fire emergencies.
The initiative was well-received by residents.
