MPSC gets new Chairman

SHILLONG, April 21: The state government has appointed outgoing PWD Chief Engineer Dawhoi Langstang as the new Chairman of the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC), Shillong, with effect from the date he assumes charge.
According to a notification issued by the Commissioner and Secretary of Personnel and Administrative Reforms on April 17, Langstang will be entitled to and governed by all terms and conditions outlined in the relevant regulations.
Simultaneously, Bedartus Shylla, who was serving as In-Charge Chairman of the Meghalaya Public Service Commission, has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.
