DISHA meeting: Saleng reviews central schemes

Baghmara, April 22: Tura MP Saleng A Sangma, on Tuesday, reviewed centrally sponsored schemes during a DISHA meeting at New Circuit House Conference Hall, Baghmara, in South Garo Hills (SGH).
The meeting reviewed the implementation and operation of various schemes under DRDA, Health, Education, Water Resources, Agri-Horti department, among others.
The allocation of funds under each scheme, issues and shortcomings were also addressed during the meeting.
Saleng further asked government machineries from the state to ensure that all schemes reach the intended beneficiaries and they get easy access to every scheme so that those eligible can avail the benefits.
