Award
Rila I Dor Suchiang from Lummuroo Secondary School, Shangpung, West Jaintia Hills, was honoured with the Best Vocational Trainer Award in the Electronics and Hardware sector during the 4th Samarth Bharat Conclave, organised by AISECT at Hotel Palacio, Khanapara, Guwahati. The event celebrated the outstanding contributions in the field of vocational education. She was selected for the award from among 19 vocational trainers across the state.

Assessment camp
A special Assessment Camp will be organised under the Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra (PMDK) scheme on Thursday at the Devakumar Memorial Hall near Sankar Dev College, Lumshatsngi, Shillong. The day-long camp, starting from 10 am, aims to empower persons with disabilities and senior citizens by providing access to vital services and benefits under the PMDK initiative.

Seminar
The Central Agricultural University, Imphal, will organise the ‘12th National Seminar on Futuristic Agriculture: Technology, Sustainability and Beyond’ at College of Post-Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences, Umiam, from May 22 to 24 in collaboration with Society for Community Mobilization for Sustainable Development (MOBILIZATION), New Delhi, National Horticulture Board (NHB), New Delhi, ICAR-RC for NEH Region, Umiam, ICAR ATARI, Guwahati, Zone-VI, Assam, and ICAR ATARI, Guwahati, Zone-VII, Assam. The three-day seminar will be attended by several eminent educationists, Vice-Chancellors of Central and State Universities, Directors of various institutions, social workers, teachers, students, and farmers.
