Interested applicants can submit their applications online at www.vidyadhan.org or by using the SDF Vidya App (available on the Google Play store) from May 26 to July 31.
This was announced by Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF), which is a non-profit organisation founded in 1999 by SD Shibulal (co-founder and former CEO of Infosys) and Kumari Shibulal (patron), to provide educational opportunities to students from economically disadvantaged families. Since then, the foundation has expanded its Vidyadhan Scholarship programme across 20 states/UTs.
To date, SDF has awarded over 50,000 scholarships, resulting in a growing Vidyadhan alumni community working as engineers, doctors, nurses, chartered accountants, in the government, including in defence forces, and as research scholars.
The foundation’s vision is to scale up, reaching 1 lakh scholarships covering all the states/ UTs in the next few years.
