Recipients of the ‘R&R Colony Gaurav Samman and Diptimoy Das Academic
Excellence Award’ with Lok Sabha member Ricky AJ Syngkon during a ceremony on Sunday. Syngkon, who was the chief guest of the occasion, was also felicitated at the programme. Altogether 28 meritorious students of Class X and XII of CBSE, ICSE, ISC and MBoSE received the award. Debasmita Dutta, a resident of R&R Colony and captain of the Meghalaya women’s cricket team, was honoured with
the ‘R&R Colony Gaurav Samman Award’ for exemplary performance
and contribution to women’s cricket in the state.
