Specially abled man kills sister-in-law, later hangs self
UMARIA, (MP) June 6: A man allegedly hacked his brother’s wife to death with an axe before ending his life by hanging himself in Madhya Pradesh’s Umaria on Friday, police said.The incident took place in Chhaprod village in Manpur tehsil, they said.“A hearing and speech-impaired man murdered his sister-in-law and later hanged himself to death. It was a fallout of a dispute between the two,” a police official said.The woman’s body was found in a naked state, triggering suspicion of attempt to rape.The woman was alone at home when the incident took place, he said. HYDERABAD, June 6: Police here solved the murder case of a woman whose body was found in a travel bag abandoned in an isolated area, by arresting her live-in partner for allegedly killing her.The deceased woman (33) and the accused (30) are natives of Nepal. They became acquainted through a social media platform and developed a relationship. On June 4, the body of the woman, initially unidentified, was found stuffed in a large travel bag in bushes in the Bachupally area and a murder case was registered. Based on credible information, police apprehended the accused, who works as a chef at a fast food stall on June 5 night.He confessed to the crime. The couple had an argument regarding the woman’s pregnancy. she wanted to terminate, but he was against it.In a fit of rage, he strangled her with a nylon thread, causing her death. (PTI)
