Chaivalry to represent state at Miss Universe India

Chaivalry Lartang has been announced as the winner of the Miss Universe Meghalaya 2025 at the state-level event in Shillong on June 14.
According to a statement, Chaivalry will be representing the state at the prestigious Miss Universe India 2025 pageant after winning the tightly contested event featuring several talented aspirants from across Meghalaya.
The jury panel of the event jointly organised by the Meghalaya Tourism Youth Development Society (MTYDS), and Miss Universe India included Amjad Khan, Director of Franchise Operations for Miss Universe India; Aqsa Varghese, Miss Universe Kerala 2024; and Irene Dkhar, Miss Tourism India.
Chaivalry, who previously secured the position of 1st runner-up at the Miss Meghalaya 2024, impressed the judges with her poise, confidence, and charm. She is set to begin intensive grooming and training in Delhi as she prepares to take the national stage at the Miss Universe India 2025.
The organisers expressed immense pride in Chaivalry’s achievement, calling her a “true ambassador of Meghalaya’s beauty, talent, and spirit.”
