Conrad visits Kohima for catholic youth convention

SHILLONG, June 27: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma attended the 5th Regional Catholic Youth Convention in Kohima, Nagaland, marking the beginning of a four-day congregation of young Christian voices from across the Northeast.
Taking to his social media handle, the chief minister expressed admiration for the enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy displayed by the participants. “Joined the gathering of passionate young minds, vibrant cultures, and powerful voices at the 5th Regional Catholic Youth Convention at Kohima, Nagaland,” he said in the post.
He added, “Energised to see the coming together of young people from all over Northeast to connect, share, learn and grow deeper in Christian values and faith. Happy to declare the four-day Convention open.”
The convention has drawn youth delegates from various Northeastern states, offering a platform to strengthen spiritual bonds, share regional cultures, and reflect on faith-based leadership.
