Training prog
The District Legal Services Authority, Shillong, will organise a training programme on ASHA (Awareness, Support, Holistic and Action) Unit at Shillong Law College, Dhankheti, from 11 am on June 30.
Restriction
An order issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi has directed that no structures would be erected, or any tree planted or grown on any land within the radius not exceeding 20 km from the aerodrome reference point of the civil and defence aerodromes of Umroi Airport, as specified in scheduled III to scheduled VII, without obtaining NOC from the Airport Authority of India for height clearance, except in cases specified in sub-rule (2) of rule 7.
Corrigendum
In a “Today in City” item published in this paper on June 26, the name of the Social Welfare Minister was inadvertently mentioned as Kyrmen Shylla. It should be read as “Social Welfare Minister Paul Lyngdoh”. The error is regretted.
