West Garo Hills Police on July 4 recovered a body of an unidentified male aged 30-35 years from the bank of the Ganol River at Garobadha. Following the completion of formalities, the body has been shifted to Tura Civil Hospital morgue for identification and claim. In this regard, the police have urged all concerned to identify and claim the body from the hospital morgue within three days. Meanwhile, it was informed that the deceased is 5’4 foot tall, has long hair, dark complexion and is of non-tribal ethnicity. “The deceased person is suspected to have been of unsound mind and was reportedly seen roaming around the Garobadha area,” the police said in a statement.
