Inauguration
Two newly constructed buildings at North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), Shillong, will be inaugurated at 10 am on Monday. According to a statement, the programme will be attended by Secretary to Department of School Education & Literacy, Sanjay Kumar, NCERT Director Prof. Dinesh Prasad Saklani, among others. “The ceremony will also include an academic deliberation with a special focus on school education and teacher education in the Northeastern region, aimed at strengthening educational practices and policy implementation in the region,” it said.
