Synthetic turf work reviewed at Umbuda

Nongpoh, July 21: Nongpoh MLA Mayralborn Syiem conducted a site inspection of the ongoing construction of the synthetic football turf at Umbuda in Ri Bhoi district on Monday. The project, aimed at promoting sports infrastructure in the region, is making steady progress.
Accompanied by local village leaders, representatives of sports clubs from Umbuda and Mawroh, and engineers from the State Sports Council of Meghalaya, the MLA assessed the work on-site and interacted with key stakeholders.Speaking to reporters, Syiem expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of the work, stating that nearly 75 to 80 percent of the construction has been completed.
