Clarification
The Dorbar Shnong Madan Laban and Riat Laban has clarified all concerned and the general public that the official name of the forest in question is ‘Riat Laban Govt. Reserve Forest’ and not ‘Raid Laban Reserve Forest’ as previously referred. The Dorbar Shnong also clarified that the specific site where trees have been felled falls within the area of Madan Laban locality and not under Lawsohtun locality.
