John Abraham’s long-delayed
Tehran confirms release on OTT

John Abraham’s much-awaited film, Tehran, is headed for an OTT release. Having faced delays for several years, the film will premiere on ZEE5 during the Independence Week 2025. The streaming giant confirmed the news on Thursday and wrote, ‘Dilli mein ek blast ne sirf ek embassy nahi, ek soye hue junoon ko jaga diya. #Tehran Coming this Independence Week, on #ZEE5.” Along with the release date, the streamer also dropped a new poster of the film, marking a first in three years. John Abraham could be seen in a bloodied, rugged look as he stood against the cityscape of Tehran. The poster included a tagline that read, ‘Hunted By Iran, Abandoned By Israel, Deserted By India.’ The first official trailer for Tehran will be released on August 1. (ANI)

As viewers eagerly wait for the latest season of the popular reality show Bigg Boss 19, the makers have unveiled the exciting teaser for the drama. The makers further announced that the show will get its grand premiere on August 24 this year. Hosted by Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan, the show will stream on JioHotstar at 9:00 PM and air on COLORS at 10:30 PM. The nineteenth season of Bigg Boss will enjoy a bold theme – Gharwalon ki Sarkaar! – indicating a seismic shift in power from outside to inside the house. ‘I hate it’: Jason Momoa shaves
beard after six years for Dune 3

Actor Jason Momoa is all set to go back to the sets of Dune for its third instalment as he filmed himself shaving his facial hair to get ready for the part. Taking to the Instagram handle, the Aquaman actor said the last time he had shaved was for the first film. ‘Only for you, Denis,’ said Momoa in the video while giving a shoutout to Dune director Denis Villeneuve. After Momoa shaved off his facial hair, he looked at himself and said, ‘Goddamnit, I hate it!’ ‘Haven’t shaved in six years, and here we are again.’ (ANI)

 

Lily James joins Chris Hemsworth
in naval thriller Subversion

British actor Lily James will feature alongside Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth in an upcoming submarine thriller movie from Amazon MGM Studios.
Titled Subversion, the film will be directed by German filmmaker Patrick Vollrath from a script penned by Andrew Ferguson, according to entertainment news outlet The Hollywood Reporter. The project has been described as a ‘Die Hard’ on a submarine’ style thriller. It is backed by Lorenzo di Bonaventura of di Bonaventura Pictures banner. In the movie, Hemsworth will star as a once-promising Naval commander who is blackmailed by a cartel-like operation into piloting a dangerous submarine carrying illegal cargo across international waters. to hit theatres in November

The fans of Zootopia are in for a treat as the makers have finally shared the trailer of the film, offering a glimpse of the hateful yet funny relationship between Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Disney’s animated movie, Zootopia, has finally got a sequel after 9 years. Judy Hopps is an ambitious rabbit in the Zootopia Police Department, while Nick Wilde is a sly fox who excels at conning people. The new trailer of the film explores their relationship as they are paired together to solve a case which involves a snake as a major suspect. Zootopia 2 to hit theatres on November 26. (ANI)
