Hek writes to Shah for release of Kerala Nuns

Shillong, August 12: Meghalaya Cabinet Minister and BJP leader AL Hek today wrote to Union Home Minister Amit Shah seeking his intervention into the release of two Kerala Nuns in Chattisgarh

Hek recalled that he has written to Chattisgarh CM earlier on the matter but there was no response from him and hence he has written to Union Home Minister seeking his intervention

He said that the recent harassment of two Nuns by Bajrang Dal have brought shame to the peace loving citizens of India.

Demanding strict action against any group involved in the incident, he said that anyone involved in the incident should be arrested as per the law.
