Corrigendum
Apropos of the news item published titled “Coal illegalities: Supreme Court issues ultimatum to M’laya govt”, published in this paper (ST dated August 13, 2025), the heading erroneously mentioned “coal illegalities”. The matter heard by the Supreme Court pertains to mining of stone boulders not illegal coal mining. The inadvertent error is regretted.
Programme
RURALPRENEUR 2025 will be held on August 19 and 20 at the State Central Library, Shillong, to celebrate the growth of rural entrepreneurs in Meghalaya. The event, hosted by PRIME Rural under the Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA), will begin at 10:30 am on both days.
