Alfreeda Rinylla Thangkhiew has been awarded PhD in English Literature by the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) for her thesis “Genre, Cultural Representation and Identity: Tracing a Postcolonial Evolution of Select Contemporary North-East Indian Writings in English”. She is the daughter of Mitchell Kharmalki and Mary Persara Thangkhiew, and wife of Raldy Raymond Lyngdoh Tron, a resident of Nongkseh Upper Shillong.

Lizia Sahkhar has been awarded PhD by the National Institute of Technology (Department of Computer Science and Engineering) for her thesis “Efficient Cloudlet Movement and Placement Strategy in a Dynamic Environment”, which she completed under the supervision of Dr Bunil Kumar Balabantaray. She is the daughter of Estarwell Blah and Bethsaida Sahkha, and wife of Shineman Rani. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at Lady Keane College, Shillong, in the Department of Computer Science.
