SHILLONG, Aug 25: The Rilbong Durga Puja Committee, 2025, will organise its pre-Puja cultural competitions on September 7, 13 and 14 at the Rilbong Hindu Dharma Sabha Hall as part of the 99th Durga Puja celebrations.
According to a statement in this regard, the competitions will begin on September 7 with solo singing events, including devotional songs and Rabindra Sangeet, scheduled for 10 am and 2:30 pm respectively.
Similarly, on September 13, recitation competitions in Bengali and English will be held, with timings set for 10 am and 2:30 pm respectively.
On September 14, solo dancing events such as Rabindra Nritya at 10 am and Folk Dances of India at 2:30 pm will be organised.
Participants will compete in different groups and classes, ranging from nursery to Class 9, with a time limit of 3-4 minutes depending on the category.
In this regard, interested participants have been asked to submit their forms by September 2 at the Rilbong Dharma Sabha.
