Woman doctor assaulted after patient’s death
RAJGARH, (MP) Sep 15: A woman doctor of a government hospital in MP’s Rajgarh district was allegedly manhandled and assaulted by the relatives of a 23-year-old patient who died on the way to another treatment facility.The police have registered a case.Angry family members beat up Dr Payal Patidar and tore her clothes.In a CCTV footage of the attack, the doctor can be seen running away as people chase her. A patient, identified as Arvind, had come to the hospital for treatment on Sunday.As his condition deteriorated, the doctor referred him to Jhalawar district for treatment, but he died on the way.Angered by this, his family members arrived with his body and argued with Dr Patidar, accusing her of negligence, and some female relatives beat her up. Cop caught taking Rs 1 lakh bribe from son of murder accused
INDORE, Sep 15: A sub-inspector was caught red-handed while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh from the son of a murder accused in MP’s Indore city on Monday. Rajput had sought a bribe from the complainant, Santosh Kumar Tomar, son of Ramchandra Singh Tomar, an accused in a murder case, he said.The complainant is the manager of a security agency run by his father, he said.Security guards of the agency had allegedly beaten a man badly near the Musakhedi bridge, mistaking him for a thief, and he later died, the official said. Teen girl dies, man critical after consuming poison
MUZAFFARNAGAR, (UP) Sep 15: A 16-year-old girl died while a man is in critical condition after the two allegedly attempted suicide by consuming poison in UP’s Shamli district, on Monday.Police told reporters that Tejpal (30) and the girl, had eloped from the village two days ago.They were later found in a bad condition in neighbouring Baghpat district.The two were rushed to the medical college in Meerut, where the girl was declared dead, while Tejpal continues to be in a serious condition.According to a complaint lodged with the police, Tejpal and the girl were in a relationship and had run away from the village on Saturday. Man held for pushing girlfriend from running train
RANCHI, Sep 15: Jharkhand CID has arrested a man for allegedly pushing his girlfriend from a running train along Koderma-Gaya section five years ago, an officer said on Monday.The incident took place between Koderma Railway Station (in Jharkhand) and Gaya Railway Station (Bihar) on March 18, 2020. While investigating the case of 28-year-old woman, Kiran Kumari, who went missing in 2020 from her maternal parents’ home in Bokaro, they arrested the culprit, Satyendra Kumar, on Thursday.The accused has claimed that both of them had a love affair and knew each other while working in an online marketing company for a few years. There was a heated debate on the issue of marriage after they boarded the train.In a fit of rage, Satyendra pushed Kiran Kumari out of the train. (PTI)
